About Dr. Nguyen
Dr. Huan Nguyen was born in Vietnam and moved to Texas at the age of 6. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Then, he attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, in 2019 and received the resident of the year award for his class. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation treatment. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Family Medicine, and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. He is practicing in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area.
Throughout his medical school and residency years, Dr. Nguyen was involved in local health fairs, multiple fundraisers, Meals On Wheels, local food drives, and a medical mission trip to Tulum, Mexico.
His interests and hobbies include playing basketball, traveling, trying out and supporting new local restaurants, sleeping, and spending time with his loved ones.
